Provide a broad range of human resource services in line with business objectives, strategic goals, and human resources. Assist managers and employees in understanding and applying HR tools in order to maximize performance and ensure compliance. Provide recruitment, staffing and compensation guidelines. Project manager and/or team member for special projects. Extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations; California wage and hour laws, OSHA, EEO, ADA, and I-9 process. Participate in grievance procedures, present new employee orientations and conduct exit interviews. Review and streamline employee grievances/complaints; resolve labor relation issues; Review and approve separation reports, conduct exit interviews and ensure final paychecks are issued in accordance to policy. Provide feedback and guidance to managers to ensure the necessary corrective action. Ensure quality assurance compliance with organizational and governmental regulatory/policy mandates. Present on-going customer service and sexual harassment training. Ensure confidentiality and security of personnel files.
